Charity concert in Bern

Under the direction of the well-known Bernese harpsichordist Marie-Louise Dähler, renowned paediatric oncologists played works by Bach and Vivaldi for a common good cause on International Childhood Cancer Day on 15 February, also the occasion of the second National Childhood Cancer Conference. Their aim? To raise funds for Childhood Cancer Switzerland.

Baroque delight

The many listeners who had come to the French Church in Bern especially for this occasion enjoyed the two concertos for three harpsichords. The performing doctors invested a considerable amount of their free time to make this event a success, bringing the Childhood Cancer Conference to an atmospheric and emotional close. We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We would also like to thank all concert-goers for their generous donations, which support us in our important work and will help children and young people with cancer have a future.
