Information events on the revised inheritance law

The revised inheritance law came into effect on 1 January 2023. The new law is more flexible than the previous one, but has given rise to quite a number of questions: What exactly is happening with the revised inheritance law? How can you make sure that your last will is fulfilled? What form does a valid will have to take?

To get answers to these and other questions on the topics of succession, advance directives and living wills, Childhood Cancer Switzerland issued invitations to free expert lectures in Basel and Zurich. Dr. Jacqueline Burckhardt from Burckhardt & Partner Basel as well as Dr. Marc’Antoni Iten from Dudli + Partner were available to field questions from around 130 guests.

At the end, participants enjoyed an informal aperitif and the opportunity to exchange stories with the team from Childhood Cancer Switzerland personally and find out more about our work. Many were interested in the detailed guide to wills that Childhood Cancer Switzerland has published in two languages. The brochure shows step by step how to make a valid will and how to take into account private persons or organisations within the free, improved quota. You can also order the inheritance brochure with all important contents directly from us.
