Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This year’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month has once again included interesting informative and awareness raising events for survivors, both at home and abroad. For this purpose, the virtual Childhood Cancer International (CCI-Europe) campaign has focused on a different topic every week: from research through diagnosis and therapy to psychosocial topics and survivorship, none of the fields of action was left out. Finally, on 30 September, a webinar (MEPs Against Cancer) is being held with EU parliamentarians and advocates of the childhood cancer community, organised by the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE).
