Parents’ Weekend in Konolfingen

From October 31 to November 1, 2025, Childhood Cancer Switzerland will once again be offering a retreat for mothers and fathers of survivors under the theme “Letting go and having trust.” Parents of children and adolescents who have overcome cancer often continue to face long-lasting challenges: late effects in the child, psychological stress and financial concerns shape their everyday lives – often even years after the illness itself.

The support program of Childhood Cancer Switzerland gives mothers and fathers the opportunity to address their own worries, fears, and concerns in a protected setting with professional guidance – balancing the need to support their children while allowing autonomy.

With the involvement of professionals from various fields, important medical, psychosocial, and legal/insurance-related topics will be addressed under the guidance of Childhood Cancer Switzerland. The two-day workshop provides ample opportunity to receive information, exchange experiences with other parents, and recharge.
