Review of the Survivors’ Meeting in Olten

On the first Sunday of Advent, the last Survivors’ meeting of the year in German-speaking Switzerland took place in Olten. Over a relaxed brunch at Restaurant Pure, the group reflected on the past year — its personal successes, challenges, and the moments that left a lasting impression. A total of 18 Survivors attended this now almost traditional gathering. The conversations ranged from health-related topics to professional reorientation, insurance questions, and personal wishes and needs.

In keeping with the season, the meeting continued with a cosy Christmas card–making activity, where the group eased into the Advent spirit together.

The open conversations and strong sense of community made this Advent Sunday especially meaningful. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our donors, whose support made this meeting possible, and to Hotel ARTE for their collaboration. We are already very much looking forward to the gatherings in 2026!
