for and with survivors
Many survivors are confronted with challenges that are not always understood by those around them. This makes it all the more important for them to exchange ideas and network with others who have shared similar experiences – in this way they do not feel so alone. Our events offer the opportunity to get answers to important questions, to exchange ideas and to network. The Survivors’ Centre offers are aimed at survivors over the age of 18.
For many survivors, the topic of childhood cancer and possible late effects often has no place in their everyday lives. In cooperation with our member organisations, we offer regular meetings and online events. These provide survivors with a protected environment in which they can meet, exchange ideas and spend time together. The Survivors’ Centre provides information and advice on the latest topics in the field of follow-up care.
The WeCanDays are long weekends accompanied by professionals. During exciting workshops, excursions and sporting activities, the weekends give you the opportunity to try out new things, discover your own talents and share positive experiences with other survivors. Together with the Survivors’ Centre, specialists from the fields of medicine and psycho-oncology provide information and advice on the latest follow-up care topics.
